About This Experience

Experience Lake Louise from the water, not just the shore. This small-group tour is the only Lake Louise and Moraine Lake tour that includes canoeing, fully provided and arranged so you skip the long boathouse lines and expensive rental fees.

Your day begins with comfortable roundtrip transportation from Banff or Canmore. On the scenic drive through Banff National Park, your local guide shares insights into the park's history, wildlife, and alpine landscapes. At Lake Louise, your guide sets you up with everything you need to paddle across the turquoise glacier-fed waters at your own pace. Canoe beneath Victoria Glacier, take in the dramatic mountain backdrop, and capture photos from a perspective most visitors never see.

After Lake Louise, continue to Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Explore the famous Rockpile viewpoint, walk the shoreline, and take in some of the most vivid turquoise water in the Canadian Rockies.

All logistics are handled for you, from transportation and guaranteed lake access to canoe equipment and arrangements, so you can focus entirely on enjoying the day.

This Lake Louise canoe and Moraine Lake tour is ideal for couples, photographers, families, and first-time visitors looking for a memorable Banff experience without the stress of planning it yourself.

Questions About This Tour

Lake Louise gets extremely busy by mid-morning in summer. By getting on the water at sunrise, you experience the lake in near-silence with perfect reflections. It's genuinely a different experience from visiting at 10 AM.
Yes, you need a valid Parks Canada Discovery Pass or day pass for Banff National Park. If you don't have one, we can stop at the park gate on the way in. Day passes are $10.50 CAD per person.
Light rain doesn't stop us — paddling in mountain mist can be magical. For safety, we only cancel in severe weather conditions (lightning, high winds). If we cancel, you receive a full refund or can reschedule.
Children ages 6 and up are welcome. Kids under 12 must be in a canoe with an adult. We provide child-sized life jackets. The early start time can be challenging for very young children.
